Big Lake Studio is my one-person workshop in Michigan where I handcraft each piece from reclaimed wood, driftwood, and natural stone.
Every hook, lamp, and light is made one at a time using materials chosen for their natural character. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Is every piece exactly like the photos?
Yes. Every item is handcrafted using natural wood and stone and when you purchase on Etsy you will receive the exact item pictured.
Are the stones real?
Yes. I use genuine natural beach stones hand selected from Lake Michigan.
Can I request a custom item?
Yes. If you’re looking for a different size, number of hooks, wood species, or another custom design, send me a message through Etsy and I’ll be happy to discuss your project.
How are the hooks mounted?
Our wall hooks and racks include keyhole slots for concealed mounting hardware for a clean appearance.
Are your products suitable for everyday use?
Yes. While each piece is handcrafted, they’re designed to be both decorative and functional for everyday use.
Where do you ship?
I ship throughout the United States. Shipping costs and delivery estimates are shown on each Etsy listing.
Do you use reclaimed wood?
Many of my pieces are made from reclaimed or naturally weathered wood chosen for its character. Product listings identify the materials used.
Can I purchase directly from this website?
